Arts and Cultural Committee
Creates events in our schools and our community through a variety of activities to expand enjoyment and appreciation of "The Arts". These have included Picture Bucks County, a photography competition and Silo live dance performances and buffet dinners hosted at the lovely Kirkland Farm. Funds raised at these popular events have helped to support the Mural Projects at our schools and the Dance in Residency programs for Palisades students. We welcome community members who are interested in joining this committee.
Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee is tasked with raising approximately $3000 each year to support a scholarship for graduating seniors who apply and meet the criteria set forth by the board. Each year PCF along with the Palisades School District give $1,000 each to students representing various sectors of our student population. These students are recommended by the Palisades School District administration and counselors. Look for upcoming events to help raise funds for this purpose.
Palisades 5K Challenge Committee
This committee is dedicated to organizing one of our biggest fundraisers and community events. This group works hard to bring health and wellness to our families and local runners. They have made this day not just a 5K race but a community event for all. The money raised at this event goes directly towards enhancing our Palisades Community.
Other committee work surfaces for projects as they happen throughout the year, ie., meals distributions, backpack/school supplies/clothing distributions, holiday giving, WIZARDS events, etc. Any help is appreciated as a committee member working behind the scenes to ensure the success of our organization's efforts!
